In 2012, Fabergé's charity initiative in London called The Big Egg Hunt was so well received, they decided to bring it to New York City during the spring of 2014.
The project brought together globally renowned artists and designers to create up to 300, 2½ foot tall egg sculptures that were hidden in Manhattan around the Easter holiday. As ardent supporters of the arts and creative talent, Fabergé wished to celebrate artistry and creativity while rasing charitable funds for "The Elephant Family" and Agnes Gund’s "Studio in a School".
