In not wanting to tarnish the reputation he was trying to build after his first book of fine art nudes was published (“Images of Woman” 1976), Robert Farber sometimes worked under the pseudonyms Rupert Danes or Hillary. These images are from some of the those 1970’s magazines, such as Playboy, Penthouse, Hustler, Viva and Club.
We have chosen not to publish the more provocative images publicly at this time. However, the story behind these images is important in understanding the evolution of a unique career. Therefore, we are making them available only to gallery curators or collectors that would have an appreciation and understanding of their artistic merits.
