Earlier in his career Farber would set up scenarios such as the beauty of two women standing on a rock in the stream, or his assistant Victor taking on the attitude and role of the gentleman of the 1920s and 30s with the two graceful young women on an art deco daybed. These setups worked beautifully and were creatively satisfying, but now, Farber looks for spontaneity, doing things impulsively that are totally driven by the moment. …And that moment usually shows up around midnight.
